Events and Activities

Workshops and seminars are part of the overall Capability Building curriculum which is offered mainly through the MAI programme. This curriculum continues to develop and current courses include a series of retreats, workshops, courses, conferences and seminars.

Writing retreat for Māori doctoral students

The national doctoral writing retreat that was planned for January 2011 will not now be held.

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga is reviewing it’s strategic goals and it is possible that a modified retreat will be held later in 2011.

National Conference for Māori doctoral students

The main objectives of the conference are to provide opportunities for emerging scholars to present papers in a supportive forum, to meet with other doctoral candidates and other established academics who are attending to support students and the programme.
